What members are saying

It was mashed with a New in London Meetup and one poor chap ended up with us dicussing all things Danish when he just wanted to meet more New in London people. ...

Any Scandinavians new to London or English people with an interest in a Scandinavain language can find somebody like-minded to chat with.

“Hi Alan, Don't know if you went to the Meetup or not. I turned up a bit later than the start. I'm an absolute beginner learning Danish and wanted to meet people at the same level. If you're 'rusty' then you're probably way too advanced for me to say hello to. Danny Flynn.”

“Hi Katya, I went to the last Meetup not knowing anybody. Said hello to Mike. Of course we spoke in English. I had hoped to meet some beginners like myself to attempt talking a little without being too embarrassed about it. Danny Flynn.”

“Hello Sophie, I don't know if you went to the Meetup or not. I didn't know anybody and got there a bit later. I was hoping to meet beginners too. There was a Danish class that was supposed to start this month in near Goodge Street, though I think they didn't have enough numbers for it, even though they never replied to me after I first enquired. I spoke to Mike who says there are courses at Westminster University. Danny Flynn.”
