We are a well established social group for Scandinavians and others interested in the language or Culture. We have a combined membership of over 400 people.
We meet on the third Tuesday of each month to chat in English, Danish or whatever Scandinavian language we find easiest. We range in ability from complete beginner to native Scandinavian. All ages are represented. Everyone is welcome along with friends.

It is free both to be a member of Danish, Swedish and Scandinavian Meetup and to attend the joint events at LOOM.

    • “ This was my first Danish language meetup, so I didn't know what to expect. There was a varied mix of nationalities, consisting approximately of 4 Swedes, 3 Germans, 1 English, 1 Norwegian, 1 dog and ironically, 1/2 a Dane = me, which I found quite amusing. I was reliably informed that usually, quite a few Danes attend. I found it interesting and enjoyable and it was nice to hook-up with my Scandinavian "cousins". I had a very pleasant evening and will definitely attend another meetup. ”
