Introduction

English couple with Danish links. Keen to meet others to practice speaking Danish. Impressed by the meetups which are really friendly and well organised. See you there!

Please briefly answer these few general questions - Many thanks - What nationality are you and how would you best describe your level of Danish ? Beginner, Intermediate, Fairly Advanced or Native.

Both English. Annalise has Danish family. Alan speaks reasonable Copenhagen Danish but struggles with jyske dialect. Annalise understands a fair amount of Danish if it is spoken slowly and clearly.

We are always keen to attract new members - Can you suggest any Danish firms, clubs or organisations that we could contact ?

Lively, intelligent, witty conversation, some of it in Danish. The opportunity to meet so nice people and maybe some lasting friends.

How did you find out about Danish Meetup ? - Do you know someone from the group or was it via a general web search or from a link on another Danish site (if so which one)

Managed to get to more than 50% of all meetups.

The group mostly meets for drinks or meals. Sometimes we go to clubs, films or exhibitions & events with a Scandinavian flavour - Is there anything else that you would like to do as part of this group. We are keen to get new members ideas on this.
