Introduction
I love Danish culture and I am learning Danish - I wish I could speak it fluently! For the first time this year I went to Denmark - I stayed with 2 friends who live in Aarhus and I loved it, I got to practise my Danish too!
Please briefly answer these few general questions - Many thanks - What nationality are you and how would you best describe your level of Danish ? Beginner, Intermediate, Fairly Advanced or Native.
I am British. I am a beginner in learning Danish.
We are always keen to attract new members - Can you suggest any Danish firms, clubs or organisations that we could contact ?
I enjoy meeting new people as well as the regular people there. There is such a nice range of people and it is a very friendly and informal group.
How did you find out about Danish Meetup ? - Do you know someone from the group or was it via a general web search or from a link on another Danish site (if so which one)
I have been to meetups at the Loom Bar, and to one of the film festivals.
The group mostly meets for drinks or meals. Sometimes we go to clubs, films or exhibitions & events with a Scandinavian flavour - Is there anything else that you would like to do as part of this group. We are keen to get new members ideas on this.
Someone on gumtree told me about this group so I came along - I now look forward to each meeting.
