- Introduction
- I'm a 32 year old girl Irish girl. I speak a small amount of Danish, learned from my partner Mike. We both love Scandinavia. I have volunteered to run this group to save it from extinction but. I'm looking for others living locally to help me.
- Would you be willing to become an assistant organiser and occasionally help out with running the group

I would be far happier in the background than running the group but as nobody else has volunteered, I am happy to take over and pay the fees for a few months and try and get it up and running again.
- What sort of events do you think we should organise as a group - For example going to bars, restaurants, cinema, discos, days out, family events, meeting in each others house etc - It's your Meetup - Please make some suggestions.

The most successful groups meet at least once a month in the same venue but to keep it fresh and add variety we should try other places and other types of activity too. Let me know if there is anything interesting going on in Kolding / Århus.

I am originally from Ireland and live in London -I have never lived permanently in Denmark.

“ Shelley is a lovely, intelligent, softly spoken Irish girl. She is kind & caring & you will never hear her say a bad word about anybody. She loves Scandinavia & has visited Norway, Denmark & Sweden (her favourite). She studied Swedish at Westminster Uni's evening classes. We both joined Scandi Meetup & she later joined Danish Meetup at my invitation. We have been going out for nearly 3 years and live together. I have tried to teach her some Danish and she in return has taught me some Swedish. ”
